Online Scam Warning | Toyota Motor Philippines

JUNE 4, 2021 – A fraudulent message has been reported to be circulating across communication apps and social media platforms. It takes the form of a website link designed to inform the recipient about Toyota’s supposed 80th Anniversary. It also promises free gifts by following the links provided.

Recipients are strongly advised not to click on the link under all circumstances, and refrain from further spreading the message. The link will lead to a deceptive website that will attempt to steal personal information and personal data.

If in the event that you clicked on it, and as an added security, it is advised to change passwords on concerned accounts or activate a 2-Factor authentication.

Toyota Motor Philippines does not ask for any private information through unauthorized channels.
