April 20, 2026 - Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) recently introduced two new electrified crossovers for 2026, led by the all-new RAV4 HEV and the All-New All-Electric Urban Cruiser BEV, as part of its continued push to expand electrified mobility options in the country. Guided by its multi-pathway approach, TMP aims to provide solutions that respond to different customer needs and varying levels of readiness for electrification. This direction is anchored in Toyota’s Beyond Zero vision, which continues to shape the brand’s growing lineup of hybrid electric and battery electric vehicles in the local market.
The all-new 2026 Toyota RAV4 HEV enters its sixth generation as a hybrid electric - only model in the Philippine market, marking a clear shift for the nameplate. It brings together fuel efficiency, all-wheel-drive capability, and updated in-car technology in a package aimed at buyers balancing daily use with occasional long-distance travel. Power comes from a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with two electric motors, producing a combined 239 PS, delivered through an e-CVT and Toyota’s E-Four electric all-wheel-drive system. Fuel efficiency is rated at around 17 to 28 km/L depending on conditions.
The all-new RAV4 Adventure HEV
Inside, the all-new RAV4 HEV has a more tech-focused layout, with a 12.3-inch meter cluster and multi-info display and a 12.9-inch audio display supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A 9-speaker JBL sound system and dual-zone climate control with S-Flow come standard, with the Limited variant adding a panoramic moonroof. It also receives Toyota Safety Sense 4.0, which expands its driver assistance functions with features such as an enhanced Pre-Collision System, Full Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, and Adaptive High Beam System with Intelligent Parking Assist reserved for the top-spec variant. Pricing is set at ₱2.183 million for the Adventure HEV and ₱2.499 million for the Limited HEV. Both variants will share the same color lineup, including options available for indent order. The Adventure variant will be available in Attitude Black Mica and Super White II, with Massive Gray, Urban Rock, Red Mica, and Ever Rest offered for indent order. Meanwhile, the Limited variant will be available in Avant-Garde Bronze Metallic, Attitude Black Mica, Dark Blue, Massive Gray, Urban Rock, Red Mica, Ever Rest, and Platinum White Pearl (separately priced at ₱2.514M).
The new Urban Cruiser BEV
Alongside it, the all-new Urban Cruiser BEV serves as Toyota’s more accessible entry point into battery electric mobility. Positioned below the bZ4X, the subcompact crossover is geared toward urban users and those beginning to explore fully electric ownership, where range and day-to-day usability tend to matter more than outright performance. It is offered with a 61 kWh battery option, producing 174 PS, with front wheel drive. Estimated maximum driving range is 475 kilometers, this is tested under controlled environment and driving cycle following internationally-accepted Fuel Consumption Test Protocol under UN Regulations No. 101. Actual result may vary depending on driving conditions and habits. The Urban Cruiser BEV will be available in Grandeur Grey, Splendid Silver, Arctic White, Land Breeze Green, and Celestial Blue.
The cabin keeps things straightforward but connected, with a 10.1-inch infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 9-speaker JBL sound system. This vehicle has Active Safety, bringing Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, and a Pre-Collision System into the package.
Taken together, the all-new RAV4 HEV and new Urban Cruiser BEV reflect how Toyota is advancing its multi-pathway approach to electrification in the Philippine market. One builds on the familiarity of hybrid electric ownership, the other leans into full electric driving with fewer barriers to entry. This balanced approach reflects Toyota’s Beyond Zero initiative, which remains a key driver behind its expanding electrified lineup and its broader push toward more sustainable mobility.
