TMP and TMP Foundation chairman Alfred V. Ty expressed gratitude to the Foundation's partners and stakeholders for their continuous support over the past three and a half decades.
"Your unwavering partnerships, generous program support, and shared commitment have been the very bedrock upon which we have built our collective impact," stated Ty.
Since its inception, the TMP Foundation has positively impacted beneficiaries across the country through its four-pillar initiatives spanning education, health, environment, and community service.
"We derive our resources from society, so we should accordingly give back to society," said Ty, citing the founding philosophy of the late Dr. George S.K. Ty, Metrobank Group and TMP’s founding chairman. "This vision was not merely an aspiration; it was a profound understanding of TMP’s role within the community - to improve the lives of our society, to contribute to a more equitable future for them."
Looking ahead, TMP Foundation also shared its steadfast commitment to nation-building and sustainable development. Chairman Alfred V. Ty announced a significant additional investment to bolster ongoing programs and launch new projects.
TMP Foundation president Jose Maria Aligada said some of the Foundation’s plans include enhanced support to the GT-Toyota Asian Cultural Center (GT-TACC) and collaboration with academic institutions, tech-voc scholarships, community healthcare services, food security program, and environmental sustainability.
In a strategic move to amplify its societal impact, the Foundation introduced "Mobility+" as its fifth advocacy pillar. This new focus will not only introduce novel initiatives but also enhance existing programs by leveraging the power of mobility.
"In synergy with our existing four pillars, this will enable us to create even more effective programs through the mobility of people, mobility of things, mobility of information, and mobility of creative and free ideas for many people," Ty explained.

‘HEAL’ Project Partnership with Toyota Mobility Foundation and Philippine General Hospital
Further solidifying commitment to accessible solutions, TMP Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Toyota Mobility Foundation (TMF) and Philippine General Hospital (PGH) for the "Healthcare Mobility for All" (HEAL) Project.

Spearheaded by Japan’s TMF, the HEAL Project is designed to address critical mobility needs and improve access to basic healthcare services in underserved communities. This will be achieved through the deployment of two (2) mobile clinics to deliver essential medical laboratory services directly to patients in Cavite province, and the provision of three (3) dedicated shuttle units for healthcare workers travelling in and out of PGH.
The mobile clinics will be equipped with diagnostic services and will be connected to PGH’s existing system that allows online consultation booking, which may also be supported by a new queueing system to help ensure smooth efficient operations. Alongside, the Tamaraw UV-based shuttle service will provide PGH healthcare workers with a safer and more convenient travel experience to and from the hospital.

TMF deputy chairman of the board Susumu Matsuda emphasized the project's significance, stating, "Mobility equals opportunity—this is what HEAL symbolizes. With strong partnership with Toyota Motor Philippines Foundation and Philippine General Hospital, we are excited to connect people to the care they need, when and where they need it, we are supporting lives, communities, and a more inclusive future in Philippines."
TMF, established by Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) in August 2014 in Japan, works globally to develop more mobile societies and eliminate mobility disparities. The Philippines, through the HEAL project, now joins the roster of TMF grant countries, benefiting from initiatives that address pressing mobility challenges in the healthcare sector.
