As a “like-for-like” replacement under a prior Special Service Campaign, which contains a non-desiccated,phase-stabilized ammonium nitrate propellant. There is a possibility that an inflator may rupture when theairbag deploys in the event of a crash. An inflator rupture may cause metal fragments to pass through theairbag and into the vehicle interior at high speed which may result in injuries to the vehicle occupant.
Customers will be notified by Toyota Motor Philippines Team through an Official Notification Letter and willbe invited by authorized Toyota Dealerships to inspect and/or replace the front passenger airbag inflatorwith a new one at NO COST. Customers may also check if the TOYOTA vehicle is included in any active ServiceCampaign at https://toyota.com.ph/service-campaign.
Customers with vehicles included in the service campaign are highly encouraged to immediately set an appointment with any authorized Toyota dealer to perform the necessary vehicle repairs to prevent problems from occurring.
