August 16, 2024 – Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is holding the Finals of its premier e-motorsports tournament, the 2024 TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GT Cup Philippines, on August 17 and 18 at the Main Atrium of the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

The Finals is divided into the Quarterfinals on August 17 and the Semifinals and National Finals on August 18.

The top 40 e-racers from the qualifiers held last July 26 to August 3 will battle it out in the Quarterfinals to determine the top 20 players who will advance to the Semifinals.

The Semifinals will see the top 20 e-racers go wheel-to-wheel to determine the top 10. The top 10 will then compete in the National Finals to reveal the top 3 e-racers who will go on to represent the Philippines at the Asia Finals.

Apart from the competition, there will be GR performance cars on display, sim racing rigs where the public can test their skills, and other activities for visitors to enjoy.

The GR Yaris, GR Supra and GR 86 will be on display from August 16 to 21, while the Fortuner GR-S, Corolla Cross GR-S HEV and Hilux GR Sport will be available for viewing from August 19 to 21.

The Finals will be streamed live on the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippines Facebook page. Races will start at 10:30AM on August 17 and 11:00AM on August 18.s
